Manitoba Space Adventure Camp 2006

Staff and Students pause for a photo-op We were privileged to have members of the Manitoba Association of Rocketry (MAR) provide information on building and launching small rockets.

A base tour increased the students' awareness of Air Force History and 17 Wing Activities and Operations. Students worked in teams to build small rockets.

After a rigorous satellite navigation exercise (geo-caching), the students happily graduated at the final day BBQ. With the help of MAR, the students were able to launch their rockets at the St. Charles range.
